So, I did Venus or as I called her, Eros. Next up is Jupiter. This is random, mind you, but I started with sketches. Once I got the big picture, I could start on the final piece.
It was going good, not my best, but not my worst. The final product though, is where things got rough.
I didn’t like it. The lineart was rough, the coloring even worse. So, I imported the pictures onto my computer and am going to use the sketch to draw it digitally. Hopefully I’ll get it done soon and post it!
Thanks for reading and have a good day!
Something I do with this segment of my blog, is that, when I look for quotes, I try to look for two things. One, does it have the artists name? Most of the time they don’t, but I still try to narrow it down. Two, do I enjoy reading it? For me to want to post it on my blog, I want it to mean something to me. I don’t like the cheesy live, laugh, love, or the hang in there stuff.
Don’t get me wrong, that’s all fine and dandy, but if I produce something, I want to relate to it. With biweekly quotes, though they don’t take a lot of time, it is a good breather, a good constant.
Just as a little tidbit, I do not claim the quotes I post. If I specifically say or quote it in my name, then yes, but most of the time it’s others words.
Anyways, thanks for reading and I hope you all have a good day!
Sorry for the blurry picture. These aren’t great, but my first drawings of the day are always a bit rough, so here is it.
