Something I do with this segment of my blog, is that, when I look for quotes, I try to look for two things. One, does it have the artists name? Most of the time they don’t, but I still try to narrow it down. Two, do I enjoy reading it? For me to want to post it on my blog, I want it to mean something to me. I don’t like the cheesy live, laugh, love, or the hang in there stuff.
Don’t get me wrong, that’s all fine and dandy, but if I produce something, I want to relate to it. With biweekly quotes, though they don’t take a lot of time, it is a good breather, a good constant.
Just as a little tidbit, I do not claim the quotes I post. If I specifically say or quote it in my name, then yes, but most of the time it’s others words.
Anyways, thanks for reading and I hope you all have a good day!
Going back to traditional art after mainly doing digital and wishing you could make selections, crop, etc.
I’ve started bookbinding and discovered a common problem:
That’s not to say I don’t enjoy bookbinding, and while my block is limited to drawing and such, I find that the physical crafting like making a book often gets me stuck.
